It’s been a while
Since I last stomped around on this ground
Where I spent so much time
And felt and gave so much love.
It’s been a while
Since I’ve really talked to anyone;
Heard them call me
By the old nickname.
It’s been a while
Since I felt good
About where I am
Compared to where they are.
But then, I came home,
And those things didn’t matter
Because we were all home.
